Called in the morning and was seen at 12:45 the same day. Doctor Luy provided excellence both in the time and the prescription provided to me.

Dr luy is always prepared and listens to my concerns. Knows my health issues and takes them seriously. Also, an very important to me is that he will consider my thoughts and opinions about my health care.

I feel Dr. Luy is burdened with other physicians work load.All physicians say talk to your primary despite being under their care- endocrine, surgeon... Please don't burn out this excellent physician.

At this current visit, I was very satisfied with my care. The doctor and I have butted heads in the past, but I continue to see him since he is extremely knowledgeable with blood pressure and diabetes.

The Phlebotomists that withdrew blood was excellent. She is skilled at withdrawing blood. I called her Houdini. I believe her first name started with a K

the issues are why precheck in if the staff doesn't see your results, why isn't there a box on your questionnaire if nothing had changed. I was unhappy that I wasn't told I had to check in for lab work as I sat for a half hour waiting to be called

Dr Luy has been consistently kind, attentive, inquisitive, helpful, and encouraging. I've been going to him as my primary care physician for over 15 years -- he's outstanding and I feel greatly blessed to be his patient.

the doctor is nice but seems distracted most times he is really nice but this time he seemed distracted and not as social as usual I'm not sure maybe it was and off day for him but overall he is a good doctor

This was an emergency visit since I fell on my face and will have CT scan in a few days to determine if I broke nose or facial bones; very pleased with my visit.

The doctor was SO focused on the fact that I didn't have health insurance, that he spent most of the appointment talking about that rather than listing and hearing out my concerns. When I requested a prescription refill, he commented on how I can't afford the medication - it would be fine for him to tell a patient about expected costs for a new medication, or to recommend ways to save, but it was not respectful of me for him to tell me that I shouldn't take the medication anymore - the one I have been on for years and have success with - because of its cost; and then to ignore most of my comments and concerns, because of cost. He even said he would normally recommend more bloodwork, but was skipping it because he didn't want to incure cost. I felt like I would have been respected much more if I did not have financial difficulties.

The receptionist sitting next to the one that checked me in was rude, I believe she may have been the lead receptionist and needs to work on her customer service skills. She was a white, middle aged female who definitely was acting like she was having a bad day. The young lady that checked me in was outstanding and polite. The older lady stated that I needed to show proof of my insurance every 6 months so, they can make a copy of my insurance card. When was this policy put in place?

This was a routine visit. One of my questions was about the shingles vaccine and Dr. Luy brought the subject up without me asking. He provided useful and extensive information about the vaccine in layman's language and I feel I have excellent information to help in making my decision to get it or not. He also discussed the cost which is significant and my insurance may not cover it so check before I decide to have the shot. I am very satisfied with Dr. Luy.

Dr. Luy is a definite 10. Dr. Luy's nurses are wonderful. However, the office check-in and check out staff people are not very nice. Most are rude. They "butt in" or cut you off when you are talking or answering questions that they asked of you. Most do not even look up at you while they are talking to you, or you to them. If a co worker asks them something while you are talking, they simply turn away, answer their co workers question then with a fake apology turn back to you and ask you what you were saying. The only time they do look up is when they yell out that they can help the next person in line. They treat us like we are just numbers and not the people that are partially the source of their income. We watch the check in process while we are waiting to be called for our appt. Most have little respect or patience for elders. We're glad they are not directly involved in our healthcare decisions. My family and friends come to Sargeant Healthcare Center for our healthcare needs. If it weren't for Dr. Luy, we would all go elsewhere. We have compared notes on occaision and most of us have the same concerns when it comes to the check-in and out desks.

The initial mental health questionnaire is unnecessary, insensitive, and insulting. Time and resources should not be spent on such questions.

He was great and deserved the high scores. My one piece of feedback is that he ordered a holter monitor but I didn't receive any written instructions on how to get it. I found a phone number on the website and called that and was directed to the right place. I'm not sure if this was what I was supposed to do or not or if I was supposed to wait for a call.
