Dr. Nelson is a wonderful doctor. I appreciate how he listens and his thoughtful approach. I would recommend him highly. Before the appointment, a nursing assistant did my weight and blood pressure. I have noticed in many Froedtert clinics the assistants who take blood pressures often get inaccurate readings. Please remind them to 1) wait until the patient has settled for a few minutes before taking the test 2) make sure that the cuff is the right size. Thank you!

The reasons for my "fair" description of the appointment process is due to the fact that I waited too long on the phone before getting a scheduler (weeks ago) and had to wait far too long to get to in to see Dr Nelson. I want to say it was worth the wait, but, my pain did not appreciate the wait, nor did my husband who saw me hurting.

The woman that checked me in was very very nice person, she was extremely helpful,courteous, had a smile on her face. Dr. Nelson was excellent, went over my MRI, and gave me a number of options for treatment. Was very respectful. Told me if I felt I needed further assistance, he said just call him.

Dr. Nelson is so calm, pleasant, polite, always looks at whoever is talking, responds immediately to any questions, and at the end of the appointment he said " thank you for coming today "! I have never heard that from anyone before. Dr. Nelson definitely gets an A+ from me!

After waiting several weeks to get in, experiencing acute pain for so many days, Dr. Nelson was an answer to my prayers! He listened to all my concerns; I never felt rushed, and he was the perfect blend of personal and professional, putting me at ease.
