Dr. Foy is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin - Division of Hematology and Oncology. He specializes in the treatment of bleeding and clot disorders and has an interest in lung cancer.

A native of Milwaukee, he graduated from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago in 2004. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. During his final two years of training, he was awarded a position on the National Institute of Health Hematology Training Grant.

Dr. Foy was fantastic and did a really great job at listening to me, giving me all options and providing his professional opinions of each option so I could make the best decision for me and my lifestyle.

This was my first visit with the provider and he was running late. My visit felt rushed and he did not ask questions to get a better sense of my overall condition.

I was nervous being a first time patient in a cancer center. The staff was very professional and friendly, which made me comfortable. Dr. Foy and his staff are wonderful.

The lab in the Cancer Center was running 1 hour behind scheduled appointment time, which then caused the provider to be behind with his appoints.

Tech should have waited longer to repeat BP. Tech had poor people skills. Provider was more interested in being a teacher than a physician. Provider not interested in treating my anemia.

despite the EPIC system being temporarily disabled, Dr. Foy and the staff were able to take medical history information and promptly continue to my appointment in a timely manner. I was referred to Dr. Foy for a consult by my regular doctor. He was able to explain the needed tests and the results to me and I felt comfortable in the office.
