About

Dr. Foy is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. He specializes in the treatment of classical hematologic conditions, with expertise in evaluation of abnormal blood counts, bleeding disorders, blood clotting and vascular anomalies. His research focuses on management of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) and medical education.

A native of Milwaukee, he graduated from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago in 2004. He then completed an internal medicine residency and Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He is a distinguished educator who has won multiple teaching awards while at MCW.

Dr. Foy explained everything to me so I could understand what was happening with my tests and I was very appreciative. He had been very supportive and helpful to me understanding my symptoms and conditions.
The PA was amazing! So kind and caring. The doctor was standoffish and I felt I didn't get a lot of questions answered. I also really didnt know what questions to ask. It would have been great for the doctor to just start giving me general answers to common questions.
Great experience with Dr. Foy and staff, was convenient to see him in West Bend. We had ample time to discuss testing which may be performed to get more detailed analysis than was possible a few years ago. Also checking the functional status of my new medication first, to ensure testing would be warranted.It may be valuable to have more details about the location since it is new, and there is a separate cancer center on site which was a bit confusing before I finally made it to the right place.
We met with Dr. Foy and a resident. It was clearly evident that the resident's training was superb.
Dr FOY is one of my favorite providers throughout Froedtert. He is listens, cares and is patient. I always appreciate the time he takes to explain current results.

Dr Foy is as superb as is his reputation in the medical community. RN fixed multiple inaccuracies I tried x3 to update on line with no success while still at home. Data system is not easy for me to fix in pre visit form FROEDERT sends.
It was my first time meeting Dr. Foy, he was so personable that I felt so comfortable to talk and share some of my concerns.It was a great visit with much needed clear and positive information.
