Please note that Rachel did not see me within 15 minutes because she was taking care of an emergency, which I totally support and understand and would want her to do the same for me. She saw me within 20 minutes which was fine.

I was treated with the same dignity and respect this day as I have come to expect from this clinic. I've been coming here for five years and the service is and always has been exemplary.

I have so many health issues and see so many specialists, no one specialist seems to know what other doctor care is even though it's in electronic health record. When I see upwards of 10 different doctors there should be someone helping manage my care through this frustrating dilemma

The provider, Rachel Stephenson, was great and my appointment with her went very well. However, the day before my appointment I had some difficulty when I called needing assistance. One week prior to this appointment I had surgery on the left carotid artery in my neck and spent the night in the hospital. Upon release I was given explicit instructions about self care and watching for infection and told to call my doctor immediately if I suspected infection. The day before my follow up appointment in the early afternoon I started noticing tightness and swelling near the incision. I applied ice and it continued to worsen. By mid afternoon my family thought that it was looking worse, so I called the telephone number I was given. It was 3:30 on a snowy Monday afternoon. I was told that everyone was gone and no one was there to assist me and I should just go to Urgent Care. I realize that someone probably needed to look at the area to make a determination if antibiotics would help, however I felt like there should have been a nurse or doctor on call that I could have talked with. Instead, I went to urgent care and when they saw the incision and realized i had just had surgery, they immediately sent me to ER because they felt like my surgical doctors should be contacted. Again.... I realize that it was best to have a doctor look at the area, however I basically was told by my doctor's staff that no one in their office was available to assist me, because at 3:30 pm every one was gone for the day. I'm very surprised that there is not someone on call for patients who experience similar situations.
