About

Dr. Sacho is one of the few physicians to have undertaken both open surgical and endovascular training to treat cerebrovascular disorders and is therefore in a unique position to offer patients options for both surgical and endovascular treatment of their cerebrovascular disorders.

After graduating top of both his medical school class and his University in the natural sciences, Dr. Sacho pursued an international career in neurosurgery, with residencies in Manchester UK, and completing his neurosurgical fellowship training in Toronto, Canada. He then moved the US to further his clinical and research interests. His research focuses on applying novel techniques to image and perform surgeries on the blood vessels of the brain.

An extremely skillful surgeon and I was lucky to have him for my necessary surgery.

I found it a bit unprofessional when he took out his phone and read a message? With no apology or explanation. I did sit and cry for awhile because I was not given any advice on home care, except "avoid triggers". I think very highly of Dr. Sacho, he did see me, despite the impolite nurses telling me he wouldn't and not to expect a call back (her name was Andrea.) He did express concern, reasoning, a path, and comfort knowing he's in this for full treatment.

The doctor and staff went out of their way to give me excellent care. I to have surgery with Dr Sacho and had a reaction when I got to the office he and his staff could not have been more kind and understanding. I would just like you to know that. Thank you

Cost of transportation to this visit was well over $260 and took almost two hours. The 15 minutes or so he spent, face-to-face, with us was not cost effective and was stressful for my husband. I would not repeat this situation. He could have told us the same thing over the telephone or MyChart. Our insurance nor Medicare cover the cost of the transportation and on social security, that is a major expense.

Dr Sacho is clearly the most caring and complete physician I have ever had the pleasure to meet (I'm a retired internal medicine physician after 45 years of practice) and to have the privilege to be his patient. It has been wonderful to experience his specialty experience and calming influence during my times of major health difficulties and follow up.

He is the leading regional authority on moyamoya disease. My primary HCP is Milwaukee VA. Not a lot of communication between my VA provider & Froedtert.
