About

Dr. Rydze earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from Macalester College in Minnesota. During this time, he was a 4-year varsity member of both the Cross Country and Track Teams and remains an avid runner to this day. He returned to his home state of Iowa to complete medical school, graduating with Research Distinction, at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He next headed south to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas, where he served as administrative chief resident in his senior year of residency.

Dr. Rydze elected to continue his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Baylor College of Medicine. During his fellowship training at Baylor he also earned his Masters in Clinical Science Investigation (MSCI). His research has focused on better understanding the factors controlling oocyte (egg) development in the ovary. He is the primary author on numerous peer reviewed publications and has even helped coauthor a book chapter on the ovary. Dr. Rydze is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). In addition, he serves as a reviewer for the journal Fertility and Sterility.

Dr. Rydze, his wife, and two children are excited to return to the Midwest to be closer to family and become part of the Milwaukee community. He is also looking forward to helping couples achieve their own reproductive goals.

Dr. Rydz always has a friendly and calming presence, and he explains everything so thoroughly. He also really seems like he has my best interest in mind. I also think everyone who has taken care of me has been wonderful, from the front desk to the nursing/medical assistant staff.
The sonographer was rude. When we saw the baby's heartbeat we asked whether we could take a video, basically she yelled NO YOU CAN NOT!! It was such a small room she really didn't have to be yelling. Same, when we wanted to confirm with her if that flicking thing is heartbeat, she again yelled I CAN'T SAY!!! It could have been a gentle reminder to us that they are not allowed to say, but no, she just practically yelled. That was not a good experience.
While our IVF rounds failed, we have nothing but good things to say about Dr Rydze. He was honest and transparent about the odds of us conceiving a biological child so we didn't have unrealistic expectations. We felt he was respectful, nonjudgmental about some of our medical issues, and showed a high degree of professional empathy. It's easy to endorse an IVF doctor following a successful outcome. The fact that we are endorsing him after an unfavorable outcome says a good deal more about him as a practitioner.
My care was amazing start to finish for my procedure. I am usually very anxious and they were so patient and made me feel comfortable.
This was my best experience in Reproductive medicine (my pas experiences have been awful) Both Dr Rydze and his staff are amazing. He is very knowledgeable and caring and professional.
Wait time was long as I wasn't seen until 45min after my appointment time. but overall I love this clinic.
Dr. Rydze is awesome. He always answered my questions, super knowledgeable and cared about my opinion.
My visit was very pleasant. Any new staff I hadn't previously met with was introduced to me and everyone was very kind and welcoming. During my scan I was checked on repeatedly to make sure I was comfortable and the communication throughout the appointment was really great. Both appointments I've had with Dr. Rydze have been great and I look forward to continuing to work with him.
Dr. Rydze is a WONDERFUL provider! He's super attentive to his patients' care and concerns and properly addresses them. He has a very friendly, personable and professional demeanor. I would refer Dr. Rydze to any/everyone I know.
Dr Ryze seemed quite uncomfortable during the appointment. It's possible that it was because there was a medical student in the room, or it could be because he for some reason could not even view my medical records of my past ivf procedures, he could only view back to 2022 (my my-chart accounts are already connected. But if they weren't, it would have been helpful for someone to reach out to me ahead of time to let me know how to get that resolved before attending an appointment we waited months for. He was just ill-prepared and had to ask me for all the details regarding my prior procedures, which I think would limit his ability to most effectively give comprehensive answers to my questions. Just wanted to give this info to help improve future peoples appts.
