it's frustrating that my doctor assumed my symptoms are a psychological problem rather than a common symptom of my illness. it tells me that she either doesn't remember me or doesn't know anything about my illness. I can be okay with that, but I'd rather have the doc just say they don't remember so I can fill them in. faking it is just aggravating and feels like I am once again being told I'm imagining things.

Wish she had reviewed records from other providers prior to the visit (orthopedic, etc.) so she would have been familiar with my health issues over the last year. Otherwise, she's wonderful.

it's frustrating that all of froedert doesn't have a streamline of making reminder calls, or emails, or text. some clinics may and others may not. especially if its for a visit set a year out. reminder calls are so helpful and appreciated in my opinion. even i asked someone about this once, they stated they didn't have the time of staffing to do this. she pretty much brushed me off and told me that is my fault if we're miss an appointment. I've been to Aurora and they seem to either call, text, or email with all departments, which is great.

The issue influencing staff rating related specifically to the lab technician. I waited over an hour to leave a urine sample. I informed the tech I could not wait any longer. She reluctantly allowed me to provide the sample. She had a number of older adults who had also been sitting for over an hour as well. She complained openly about not wanting to work in "this department, that she told them she hates working here, etc. etc." Very unprofessional and clearly not doing her job; not certain what she was doing in between labs. There were a couple new staff who inadvertently added to the extended time it took to complete my lab. Dr. Green called the next day to ask how I was and to apologize for the length of time between appointment and lab. Appointment at 1:30 pm, urine sample after 3:10 pm.

Here are thoughts I wanted to share. Labeling of the areas for newcomers could be improved. Some of these questions didn't truly apply to myself since I retired and was looking for a new doctor. Because of bad experiences in the past, my trust needs to be earned. The research I did on Dr Sandra Green and after I met with her personally, I then first decided I would transfer my medical records. I wish the patient's personal input would truly be respected more in these surveys.
