About

Dr. Walsh joined the Koss Cochlear Implant Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin after completing her doctoral externship year at Froedtert/MCW. She earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Northern Illinois University.

Dr. Walsh currently works with adult osseointegrated and cochlear implant patients. She is always excited about the opportunity to provide her patients access to sound and communication, which are so vital to a patient's quality of life.

Shannon Walsh was amazing! I'm sure she does a lot of these kinds of appointments when people are looking at getting cochlear implants, but she clearly understood that it is traumatic for someone who didn't expect it. She was wonderful with me. I am so glad I will have her on this journey with me.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained the problem I was having.
Dr Walsh is an extremely professional person while at the same time feeling 'approachable'. She shows a real care and also excitement when I am doing well, and translates that to me. She is kind and helpful and I never have felt rushed when I am with her. I always feel she has my very best interests at heart. I have been and continue to feel blessed to have her as my doctor since I received my implant.
