Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
To gain further clinical training which would allow me to pursue a career as an inpatient clinical pharmacist in a specialty area of practice. I plan to pursue a second year residency in either critical care or emergency medicine.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
I had the opportunity to participate in the Froedtert & MCW longitudinal APPE program in my fourth year of pharmacy school. Throughout this experience, I was able to see how integrated pharmacy is within patient care. I also was able to see how passionate the preceptors are and how willing they are to take the time to teach students and residents. I knew this was a place where I wanted to continue to train.
