Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I knew a postgraduate training residency would provide me with invaluable opportunities to learn new skills and also opportunities to reinforce these skills. Additionally, I thought a residency was a perfect solution to balancing autonomy with a more structured support system.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
The culture at Froedtert Hospital is extremely supportive of pharmacist-managed services, and pharmacists are integral members of the healthcare team. This provides an environment where pharmacists can practice at the top of their license and live out their commitment to provide exceptional patient care enhanced by innovation and discovery. Additionally as a student on rotation at Froedtert Hospital during my last year of pharmacy school, I realized how valuable it is to contribute to a learning team.
