PGY2 Residency Project
Measuring the Impact of Implementing a Pharmacy-Focused, Electronic Health Record-Based Trackboard on Emergency Department Outcomes
Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I knew that I wanted further clinical training so that I would have experience with the use of informatics and electronic health records within this setting. I decided that regardless of where I work in the future, this additional training would be helpful to me in pursuing clinical informatics career.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
I have known since starting pharmacy school that I wanted to pursue informatics. There are relatively few PGY2 programs throughout the nation, so I focused on applying to those for PGY1. I matched with Froedtert for PGY1 and liked my experience so much that I early committed to PGY2.
