Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I think residency is a great opportunity to maximize our education through a structured learning program so that we can practice at the top of our license as a hospital pharmacist. Additionally, my goal is to practice as either a critical care or an oncology pharmacist, which both require 2 years of residency.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
The Froedtert & MCW program is the entire package of what I was looking for in a residency program. It is progressive in practice where pharmacists are well integrated into the patient care team with all medical professions. It also has a strong and well-developed residency curriculum with an amazing pharmacy culture since people care about you and your learning here while still giving you a wide range of duties and autonomy in practice.
