Benefits of an MS Second Opinion

Don’t feel intimidated about getting a second opinion. Most physicians encourage their patients to explore options when faced with a serious health issue. Our physicians have built outstanding relationships with area physicians and will work with you and your physician in providing a customized care plan.

We believe patients with multiple sclerosis need to explore all alternatives to choose what is best for them. A second opinion, whether from our team or a different team, can reassure you that you are making the right decisions and give you peace of mind, knowing you have explored all your options.

Participating in MS Clinical Trials May Be an Option

As part of the only academic medical center in eastern Wisconsin, we provide you with access to the latest treatments and technology. This means you will be presented with the most advanced treatment options for your individual case. Our physicians treat patients in one of the top research centers in the country and receive more National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant funding than almost any academic medical center nationwide.

If it’s right for you, our physicians might suggest that you become involved in one of our clinical trials as a treatment for your multiple sclerosis. Learn more about clinical trial participation.
