Menomonee Falls, Wis. — Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Moorland Reserve Health Center will offer public drug collection events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24. The Froedtert & MCW health network, in partnership with the Menomonee Falls and New Berlin Police Departments, hosts drug collection events annually to support keeping communities safer and healthier.

Participants may not drop off biohazardous material including: sharps, mercury, household hazardous waste or personal hygiene products.
At Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, participants may enter driveway B to be directed to the collection site on Ring Road. At Moorland Reserve Health Center, the event takes place in the front parking lot off of Moorland Road in New Berlin. Drive-thru event offers convenience for attendees while promoting safety measures. Volunteers staffing the event will be wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Individuals planning to participate in this drive-thru collection must wear masks as well.
Spring drug collection events were cancelled and some public drop-box locations are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This fall collection offers a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications.
