Local student artist thanks staff with chalk art at Froedtert West Bend Hospital

West Bend, Wis. — Kinsley Kohls, a junior at West Bend West High School, created chalk art Thursday, April 2, at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital main entrance April 2 thanking staff for their dedication to patient care. Kinsley wanted to show her appreciation for all health care workers, and expressed it through a drawing based on a Winnie the Pooh quote.

Kinsley has participated in the Museum of Wisconsin Art’s annual Chalkfest since she was 13, and has had her art displayed at MOWA’s annual members event. Her art has also appeared on the City of West Bend’s banner downtown and on the annual Kewaskum Turkey Trot.
