The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network opened the Forest Home Health Center, which will also house the new South Side Family Medicine Residency Program. Located at 1316 W. Forest Home Avenue, Suite A, Milwaukee, the center provides primary care for all ages and needs, including kids and older adults, and will improve access to preventive care so health problems may be detected at early stages when they may be easier to treat. The health center provides prenatal care, care after childbirth and care of newborns after hospital discharge. Behavioral health services are also available.

From the Sheboygan Sun — Lakeshore Technical College held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Froedtert & MCW Center for Healthcare Excellence at its Cleveland campus on Monday morning. The $5 million project, which includes a new 17,000-square-foot addition and updates to LTC’s existing healthcare education facilities, will double the number of healthcare students the college is able to accommodate, and thus fill a need for skilled medical professionals in the area. Rosenwald and Katherine Rembalski are part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, which is made up of ICU nurses. “There was a lot of questions on diversity,” said Rosenwald.
