Whooping cough impacting Wisconsin communities

Whooping cough, known formally as pertussis, is characterized by prolonged coughing that leaves patients gasping for air. Froedtert to open new primary care clinic on Milwaukee's east side in early 2025
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel — Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network plans to open a new primary care clinic on Milwaukee's east side early next year. The project, called Lafayette Clinic, would be located at 2071 N. Summit Ave., and is meant to expand access to primary care and obstetrical and gynecological care for people on the east side, according to a press release issued Monday.

Five-star ribbon performance is the highest rating category on the list. Froedtert Hospital was among 168 hospitals that received the five-ribbon ranking from Newsweek, organized by state.
