On July 25, 2018, Froedtert Health acquired the former Wisconsin Heart Hospital property at 10000 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, from Ascension Wisconsin. The two organizations have been engaged in discussions over the past several months regarding the site. Patients have not been seen at that location since the Heart Hospital closed in July 2016.
TJ Kreye, critical care technician in the St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency Department, has been posthumously recognized with St. Joseph’s Hospital’s first-ever Sunflower Award. TJ passed away unexpectedly April 18 after a long battle with epilepsy.
