From CBS 58 — Accomplished dancer and a five-year breast cancer survivor Monica Isla brings the healing powers of ballet to others living with cancer, encouraging well-being through increased flexibility and decreased stress. Last week, Monica’s students, patients of the Froedtert & MCW Clinical Cancer Center, took part in a private class with Milwaukee Ballet’s second company to promote whole-person healing with ballet. Following the class, the dancers performed in the Clinical Cancer Center lobby. Beautiful!

Schultz and his team are one of the early adopters of Elekta’s Unity system, which combines high-field, 1.5 T magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with a state-of-the-art linear accelerator. This new generation of image-guided radiotherapy systems makes it possible to visualize the target area during treatment and adapt the radiation dose in real time.
