Construction of the new West Bend Health Center is scheduled to begin this summer. The existing facility will remain open and operational while the new health center is under construction on the southeast end of the West Bend Health Center campus.

Together, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the BloodCenter of Wisconsin have developed a first-in-the-world cancer treatment. It is called CAR-T cell therapy. It uses a person's own immune system to target and destroy cancer cells. This story was also featured on CBS58.
