From Urban Milwaukee — A partnership of Milwaukee County and area health systems is being honored by a good government organization for their work on the new Mental Health Emergency Center, 1525 N. 12th St. The project is a partnership between the county and four of the region’s largest health systems: Froedtert Health, Ascension Wisconsin, Advocate Aurora Health and Children’s Wisconsin.

From TMJ4 — Froedtert & MCW health network announced a new partnership with ThedaCare that will provide Wisconsinites with expanded and convenient access to advanced levels of specialty care and medicine. These Froedtert & MCW specialty services include heart and lung transplants, and advanced heart failure services. ThedaCare will provide care before and after these advanced treatments.

From TMJ4 — The United States crossed a major milestone: Conducting its one millionth organ transplant. Evan Williams is grateful to be one of that million. Last year he received a phone call that saved his life. "All of a sudden I saw Froedtert [Hospital] calling and so I answered the phone and it was the Transplant Team saying, 'Hey, Evan, we found a match for you,'" said Williams.
