Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I wanted the opportunity to continue to develop a strong clinical foundation while also gaining confidence and proficiency as a new practitioner. A residency will also be helpful while working towards my long term career goal of obtaining a teaching position at a school of pharmacy.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
I really enjoyed my time at Froedtert Hospital as an intern during all four years of pharmacy school. During my two APPE rotations at Froedtert Hospital, I was also able to see first-hand just how involved pharmacists are on the medical team. Their dedication to education, innovation and furthering the pharmacist was apparent during every interaction I had.
