The Discharge Lounge is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
When you are ready to leave the hospital, your care team will work with you to ensure a smooth transition home. If you need to wait for transportation or prescriptions, our Discharge Lounge is a comfortable place for you to wait free from the noises of a hospital unit. You will be escorted to the suite by a guest relations representative or transporter.
In the Discharge Lounge, a trained guest relations representative will assist in making you comfortable and will tend to any of your non-medical needs. The suite also offers:
- Comfortable seating
- Individual tablets connected to Wi-Fi
- Complimentary snacks and beverages
- Natural lighting
- Restrooms within the suite
- Designated parking for your driver
When your transportation arrives, our staff will coordinate an escort to take you to the Pavilion entrance to meet your driver.

Discharge Lounge patient pick-up is available via Door 6 off of 92nd Street. Please park in one of the dedicated spaces for patient pick-up and call the number on the sign. Staff will provide further instructions.
