Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

I chose to pursue a PGY2 residency after experiencing oncology rotations as a PGY1 resident. I really enjoy the challenge of oncology and the opportunity to continuously learn as new treatments and regimens are developed.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

I wanted to stay at Froedtert because the PGY2 oncology program provides a variety of rotations in both inpatient and clinic settings. This provides opportunities to really dig deep into disease states and learn about treatment regimens. There are also a variety of longitudinal requirements and projects that help to build skills that will make me marketable for a job after PGY2. Additionally, the oncology preceptors are great and really excited to help you learn making rotations very enjoyable!
