Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

Many of my strongest mentors over the years have completed residencies, and I have always been impressed with their expertise in particular clinical specialty areas. My personal residency pursuit has developed from the desire to become as much of an expert as I can within my favorite clinical focus of emergency medicine.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

The Froedtert & MCW program has a strong focus on clinical toxicology and many other opportunities to develop clinical skills in unique practice locations such as the Wisconsin Poison Center and Milwaukee County Emergency Medical Services/Flight for Life. The emergency medicine pharmacists are fully integrated within patient care in a very collaborative setting. Additionally, the emergency medicine pharmacy preceptors are true experts who love to teach and mentor.
