Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

Pursuit of a residency was the natural next step for me to grow as a person and as a professional. With my major professional interest of informatics, it was imperative to first learn to practice as a clinical pharmacist. A rigorous residency program was the perfect way to achieve this. Now I am awarded the opportunity to use those skills and apply them to my work as an Informatics Pharmacist.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

I went through a full year here and wanted to go for round two! The people are friendly, knowledgeable and great educators. The staffing model is unique and challenging, but rewarding. There are a ridiculous amount of rotations offered, few of which are required, so the experience is truly your own. I only get 4 lines to answer this? That’s too bad; there is a lot to like.

Professional Interests

At this point pretty much just informatics; specifically within informatics – automation and reporting

Hobbies

Cooking, hanging out with my cat, video games with pals, crying at the possibility of no college football this year, just started playing Dungeons and Dragons and that’s a good ole time

Favorite Things to Do in Milwaukee

River pontoon, eat at Vanguard, kick it socially distanced style at Barnacle Bud’s, game nights with co-residents
