PGY2 Residency Project

Assessing Actual Versus Predicted Reimbursement for Ambulatory Medications With Medication-Specific Reimbursement

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

I chose to pursue a residency to further develop my skills and experience in drug policy and medication safety while completing specialized rotations within the practice of pharmacy. By completing this residency, I will also be able to build strong relationships with other pharmacists and healthcare providers to complete meaningful projects that improve outcomes for patients, while learning along the way.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

The pharmacy department here at Froedtert & MCW health network does a great job of taking care of patients while also helping learners grow through interprofessional collaboration. As an academic medical center, Froedtert Hospital readily involves students and residents at the forefront of direct patient care. The health system also has a strong culture of safety and dedicates plenty of resources to ensure medications are used safely and effectively. I’m excited to learn alongside a great pharmacy team and improve patient care!
