Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
A career in pharmacy comes with life-long learning and professional development, and I view residency as the first step in that process. By completing a residency, I hope to build on my confidence as a member of the healthcare team as well as learn how to develop/advance ambulatory care pharmacy services.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
Being an academic medical center this program allows for a layered learning model that is built to support precepting and interprofessional collaboration. Through having the opportunity to be a Froedtert & MCW longitudinal APPE student, I was able to see first-hand the positive impact of collaborative practice agreements across the healthcare system and the strong pharmacist/physician relationships.
