PGY2 Residency Project

Formulary Management of Newly Approved Oncology Medications – Stakeholder Perceptions and Opportunities

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

I chose to pursue a PGY-2 residency to expand my knowledge of hematology and oncology and further develop my clinical thinking skills, so I can serve as a valued member to the hematology/oncology team and provide safe and effective patient care.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

The PGY-2 Oncology Residency program at Froedtert & MCW has robust inpatient and outpatient experiences which will allow me to become a proficient hematology/oncology pharmacist in both settings. Froedtert & MCW offers a number of unique longitudinal opportunities to explore many aspects of this specialty. In addition, I am excited to have the opportunity to learn from the many excellent, dedicated preceptors at Froedtert & MCW who will support my learning and growth throughout the year!
