PGY2 Residency Project

Effect of Initial Vasopressor Strategies on Cardiac Re-Arrest Rates in Patients Experiencing Return of Spontaneous Circulation in the Emergency Department

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

I knew completing a second year of residency would provide me with the opportunity to deepen my pharmacotherapy knowledge and skills in the care of patients with extreme and emergent medical needs. I wanted to be challenged to expand my knowledge base and develop my clinical and interprofessional skills.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

The program here at Froedtert Hospital attracted me for two main reasons: the people and the experience. The preceptors are incredible and motivated to develop you into an outstanding clinician. Additionally, clinical staffing in the ED and a longitudinal toxicology component of the program really expand the breadth of experience gained during the year!
