PGY1 Residency Project

Evaluating Guideline Compliance of Steroids in Asthma Patients

Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

The decision to pursue a residency was an easy one; I knew that I wanted to practice pharmacy at the top of my license and provide care at more than just a clinical level. Residents are able to engage and lead projects that can potentially impact patient care across the health system.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

The Froedtert & MCW progressive pharmacy practice model and unique rotations are what attracted me to the program. The various specialized roles that pharmacists participate in represent the pinnacle of the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy practice. Additionally, it is the kind of environment in which I have personally, academically, and professionally flourished as an APPE student.
