Innovative, dedicated, trusted

What attracted you to Froedtert Hospital’s PGY2 program?

I felt a tremendous amount of support from my preceptors and leadership team as a PGY1 resident, and I knew that this would continue as a PGY2 resident as I gained more independence and began to consider career options. There are also a wide variety of learning experiences through the PGY2 program, including the many specialty clinic rotations, longitudinal rotations and service development project.

Primary Care, Diabetes Management, Rheumatology, Geriatrics

Hobbies

I love anything that involves music! I play piano and violin and am learning how to play the accordion (slowly). I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family.

Favorite Things to Do in Milwaukee

There are so many fun things to do in Milwaukee! I enjoy going to beer gardens and the many summer festivals the city has to offer. I also like to play trivia with my co-residents!

Advice for Potential PGY2 Candidates

Make good connections with preceptors and your co-residents your first year. This can help you create a strong support system, and you will be able to ask preceptors for letters of recommendations for PGY2 and beyond.
