Clinical Pharmacy Services

Designed for patients who are not admitted to the hospital, outpatient pharmacy services prioritize accessibility, patient care and cost-efficiency.

Clinical pharmacists, nurses and pharmacy technicians work collaboratively with doctors and clinicians as part of the health care team to manage a variety of health conditions. We provide services that include:

• Medication therapy management
• Patient education and counseling
• Insurance and cost assistance

We consult with you on your medications and offer support to you and the other members of your care team. Additionally, the pharmacists can order labs, vaccines and related referrals to make sure medications are working well for you.

As key members of your care team, clinical pharmacists are located in many of our health centers and clinics — as well as our hospitals.  

Your doctor may refer you to a clinical pharmacist for this support. You may also ask your doctor or clinician for a referral to the team.
