All Medical College of Wisconsin plastic surgeons serving the Plastic Surgery Center have practiced at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin facilities and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for almost all of their professional careers. As a group, they are members of all the national plastic surgery organizations, having served in a leadership capacity in many of these organizations for several decades. Medical College of Wisconsin plastic surgeons are regularly recognized by such entities as the Best Doctors in America, Inc. and Milwaukee Magazine's annual "Top Doctors" listing.
Each of the surgeons who will be involved in your care has completed a rigorous course of training after medical school. Typically, this involved completing a surgical residency followed by formal plastic surgery training and a year of post graduate study — a total of seven to nine years. In addition, each surgeon participates in continuing medical education activities — as teachers and by attending post-graduate courses and meetings. This helps us learn the most modern techniques, which we, in turn, provide to you.
