Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network is committed to providing the highest quality health care for our patients. In that process, accreditations are an important measurement tool and driver of performance improvement. Through accreditation, we use self-assessment and external peer assessment to help us compare our level of performance with established standards and best practices. Then we apply what we learn to continuously improve the care we provide.

Here are the accreditations earned by our hospitals and health centers followed by the accreditations earned by our entire health system.

  • Froedtert Hospital Accreditations

    Level I Trauma Center

Froedtert Hospital is eastern Wisconsin’s only adult Level I Trauma Center. The classification, by the American College of Surgeons, means the trauma center provides the highest level of specialty expertise and meets strict national standards. This national recognition establishes Froedtert Hospital as part of an elite group of industry leaders with the staff, training, tools, technology and 24/7 availability to provide the most advanced stroke care.

The Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Froedtert Hospital is designated a Level 4 epilepsy center — the highest rating — by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers.
