Froedtert Health, in collaboration with the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), is making significant strides to enhance vaccination rates within our communities. With a longstanding commitment to promoting vaccination among both employees and patients, Froedtert Health leverages multiple channels to ensure broad communication.

Froedtert Health employees are regularly updated on vaccination opportunities through Workplace and Scout, our internal platforms, while patients receive timely reminders through MyChart, our patient portal, and community service announcements.

The ACOEM partnership has expanded our efforts to include direct, face-to-face education in our patient interactions. Initially piloted at our North Hills and McKinley Health Centers, this initiative is now being extended to six of our External Occupational Health locations.

During pre-employment physicals and worker injury appointments, patients are actively educated about influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations — free of charge. This personal interaction not only addresses vaccine hesitancy — a critical public health concern globally — but also equips individuals with the knowledge to protect themselves and their families from preventable diseases. By fostering these direct conversations, Froedtert Health continues to advance public health and ensure comprehensive support for our community, while also helping our business clients maintain healthy workforces.
