Volunteers are a valuable part of the patient experience for the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. Volunteer associates make a difference at our hospitals by sharing their time and special talents with others.

Why volunteer?

Your concern can make a patient’s day better, relieve a staff member’s daily load, and support our mission to advance the health care of the diverse communities we serve.

What do hospital volunteers do?

Volunteers support patient care and assist hospital staff with important tasks. Specific opportunities vary by location. Every act of service makes a big difference. We will work to help you find the best volunteer opportunity for your skills and interest.

Who can volunteer?

Based on the location, some opportunities are available to people as young as 15 years old. Most opportunities require applicants to be 18 years of age or older. All volunteers must pass a background check.
