The Dining Room
Open daily, the Dining Room is located on the first floor of the West Hospital and features a wide variety of daily selections. Breakfast choices include bagels, a fruit bar and made-to-order breakfast entrees. Lunch and dinner feature a daily soup and salad bar, the “corner grill,” made-to-order sandwiches, traditional entrée choices, Arrezzio pizza and a stir fry counter. A variety of tempting desserts and beverages are also available.
- Breakfast, 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (until 9:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays)

- Dinner, 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (until 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays)
Enjoy fresh, made-to-order deli sandwiches and a variety of hot entrees. The Skywalk Deli offers daily breakfast and lunch. If you are in a hurry, our Grab-n-Go cooler is stocked with a great assortment of specialty salads and sandwiches made fresh daily. We also feature hand-dipped Blue Bunny Ice Cream and Alterra coffee. The Skywalk Deli offers a large selection of specialty beverages and light snacks. Carry-out selections or in-deli dining are both available. The Skywalk Deli is conveniently located on the 2nd floor skywalk joining Froedtert Hospital and the Specialty Clinics.

Located on level 1, Froedtert Hspital, north side of the Dining Room, the Patio Cafe is open for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Patio Cafe offers a full service Alterra coffee station, including all your favorite Alterra latte and cappuccino drinks. The Patio Cafe offers a variety of hot and cold menu items, and breakfast is available 24 hours a day. Try a made-to-order deli sandwich or a signature entrée, along with a cup of your favorite soup. You can also enjoy soft serve custard, fresh popped popcorn, cookies or a quick snack of candy or chips.

87th Street Bistro
Located on the second floor of the Clinical Cancer Center Open Monday through Friday for breakfast, lunch, snacks or an early dinner. The bistro offers a variety of delicious bakery, sandwiches, desserts, salads, beverages, fruits and cheeses in our Grab & Go case.
Breakfast choices include fruit crepes, omelets, fruit with Wisconsin yogurt, fresh juice, Alterra coffee, and bakery from East Side Ovens and Alterra. Lunch choices include Bartolotta’s Piccola Pizza, eggplant parmesan sandwiches, veggie wraps, tuna or seafood salad sandwiches, bruschetta, cucumber sandwiches, veggie burgers, salads and baked macaroni & cheese.
Featuring Alterra coffee and bakery, East Side Ovens bakery, Great Scotts Snacks, Outpost Foods, and other organic, whole and natural foods.

A variety of vending machines are available for visitors. Vending machines are located throughout the hospital, including the dining room (level 1), the Emergency Department and the lower level of the Eye Institute. All machines accept $1 or $5 bills and provide change.
Beverages, snacks, sandwiches and sweets are available, along with a microwave and a change machine for your convenience.
In-Room Dining allows you to select meals from our extensive menu and receive what you want, when you would like it served.
Meals are freshly prepared and delivered within 45 minutes of your request. All menu items are available during serving hours – from 6a.m. 7:30 p.m. To order your selections, call us by dialing 52222 to place your order. Family members who are making meal selections from outside the hospital may dial 414-805-2222.
Please note: If your doctor has ordered a special diet, some items may not be available or may be altered. In addition, some medications may need to be coordinated with meals. If you are on insulin or need assistance with meals, please notify your nurse each time you order a meal.
Community Memorial Hospital Campus
The cafeteria, located on the lower level, offers a constantly changing variety of lunch and dinner selections

- Dinner: 3 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
The Community Cafe, located near the main entrance, features pizza, specialty sandwiches, soup, salads, snack foods, beverages and ice cream.
- Breakfast is served Monday through Friday until 10:30 a.m.
- 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
- The Community Cafe is closed Saturday, Sundays and Holidays.
Food and beverage machines are located near the Cafeteria. Beverage machines are also located in the Birthing Center waiting room, the Emergency Department waiting room and in the Outpatient Care Center. A newspaper vending machine is located on the lower level in the Cafeteria.
Coffee is available in the Cafeteria, the Community Cafe, the Outpatient Care Center lobby and the ICU lobby.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a service designed to help an aging population and other vulnerable individuals by delivering hot nutritious meals to their home. This service provides more than just a meal. A friendly smile to greet you at the door and reassurance that a Meals on Wheels volunteer will be checking in on you or your loved one each delivery day. If a volunteer does not make face to face contact with you, a family member or friend is notified to assure your safety.
Ordering Meals on Wheels
Simply call the Horizon Home Care & Hospice office a 414-586-6220. A 24 hour notice is requested before start of service.
About the Service
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. Weekend meals are available and will be delivered with Friday's meal. A minimum order of three delivery days a week is required and meals must be received five times before cancellation of service. There is no meal delivery service on the significant Holidays.
Delivery of meals is between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Hot meals are $7.00 delivered or $10.50 for a hot meal with an additional cold bag meal delivered. Each hot meal includes:

Meals can be prepared to specific health requirements under the careful guidance of a Registered Dietician. Special diets may include diabetic, no added salt, low salt, low cholesterol, soft, pureed, renal and bland.
In Case of Inclement Weather
Volunteers do their best to deliver meals in spite of poor weather. If the conditions are extreme, meal delivery may be cancelled. Please keep a supply of nonperishable food in your home for emergency situations. Listen for cancellations on radio station WTMJ/620AM or television Channel 4.

How is the Service Paid For?
Horizon Home Care & Hospice is a nonprofit organization striving to provide cost effective services. Meals on Wheels is typically a private pay or contracted service. Recipients are billed on a monthly basis.
