My treatment philosophy emphasizes mutual understanding between myself and my patients. From the therapist’s perspective, this means listening and understanding what symptoms you are experiencing, and what your goals are for for full active participation in your specific life activities. From the patient’s perspective, education is key – both to understand the cause of your symptoms, as well as how therapy interventions address these symptoms to help you reach your goals.

About
I have been in practice for 20 years, specializing in outpatient orthopedics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and graduated in 1999 from Marquette University with my Master’s in Physical Therapy. While completing my Master’s Degree, I also completed my certification in Athletic Training and am dual licensed for Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. I have worked in the hospital, clinic, and school setting with a wide variety of patient populations. I have obtained specialty training in lower extremity biomechanics, foot and ankle orthotics, osteoporosis management, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and sports medicine from ‘on the field’ assessment to preventative and post-operative care. I enjoy serving as part of an interdisciplinary team of medical providers and professionals, all with the shared focus on our patient and his or her needs. I serve on several teams within the Froedtert system, including the Balance and Falls team, the Patient Satisfaction team, and the Orthotics Specialty team.
