Clinical Research

The Froedtert & MCW health network offers patients direct access to a wide range of clinical trials. Each of the trials has been approved by the Froedtert & MCW Institutional Review Board, or IRB. Involvement in a clinical trial is strictly voluntary and requires each participant to sign an informed consent form. To assure that useful data is derived from a clinical trial, strict eligibility requirements are in place.

Please call us for more information about clinical trials or use our online form.

Medical College of Wisconsin

At the core of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is academic medicine, which brings together scientists, clinicians, students and community members to solve challenges in health and society. Every study conducted and every patient seen leads to new learning and a continuous cycle of life-changing knowledge. MCW is proud of this legacy but even prouder of the hundreds of thousands of lives changed through research discoveries that advance medicine and provide patients with the most innovative options for treatment.

Clinical Trials Resources

If you'd like more information about clinical trials, we recommend the following federal government Web sites, all falling under the "umbrella" of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, the National Institutes of Health provides a service called ClinicalTrials.gov that allows you to look up information on federally and privately supported research. Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin research is regularly available there.

All of Us Research Program

The National Institutes of Health All of Us Research Program has a simple mission — speed up health research breakthroughs. To do this, All of Us is asking one million people to share their health information.

125 Years of Education, Research, Innovation and Patient Care

MCW has educated 50 percent of the practicing physicians in Wisconsin and is an innovation leader as the largest private research institution in the state. MCW faculty members lead more cancer clinical trials than any other institution in Wisconsin and offer advanced, personalized care through partners including the Froedtert & MCW health network.
