About

I have trained in the United Kingdom throughout my whole career. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen medical school in Scotland in 1999 and I completed my residency at the University Hospitals in Oxford and my fellowship at the University Hospitals of the Northern Deanery based in Newcastle. I completed my research at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and a further advanced hepatology fellowship at King's College Hospital in London. I have been working as an attending physician in hepatology and transplant hepatology at St James' University Hospital in Leeds for the last 11 years until my very recent move to Milwaukee and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

I have recommended this provider for my boyfriend who will be moving to Wisconsin in the next 6 months or so. I feel this provider really cares about me and my health. She was very thorough.
Dr. T is by far the best doctor I've seen. She is thorough and listens to you. She finds the root cause of the problem and is not dismissive. Every provider needs to be like this woman!
Every person that I have had dealings with have been outstanding!
I met with both the physician's assistant, and the physician herself. Each of them were so thorough, caring, and determined to get to the bottom of the issue I was having. They took their time, answered any questions I had, and were thoughtful and how to proceed from there.
Dr was VERY thorough.
Dr. Tachtatzis is skilled, caring and thorough. I'm grateful to have her as a provider. When you hear there is something suspicious in test results, your mind can race. Her ability to walk you through each next step is exceptional. Thank you for your professionalism. I highly recommend her.
Doctor ran late so we waited I was grateful to be able to see her. After 45 min. Another MA checked to inform me my MD was just next door.
Definitely overbooked. Consider hiring another associate.
She was extremely thorough and kind. She saw my dad in the past and he has since passed away - was very compassionate. I felt at ease with her, and appreciated the amount of time she spent with me.
Spent a lot of time with me, talking, taking my history, answering any questions. Very thorough and kind.
Dr. Tachtatzis is an amazing care provider, and she is so easy to communicate with! Couple that with her knowledge of the digestive system and human health all together, (and her extraordinary personality,) and you have an amazing physician in your facility! I feel so blessed to be her patient. And all of her nurses, the staff and the facility are all 5 !
Easier to get appointments and better response time on return phone calls
I was amazed that the total initial appointment and associated labs took 2 full hours. In a time when it seems clinics try to get you in and out sometimes too quickly, I was pleased to see the resident and doctor spend as much time as it took to get a complete history and do initial exam.
WE ARE FAMILY
They took the time to explain things and answer questions, it was a very helpful visit with my questions.
Both the PA and the doctor showed extraordinary concern to understand my condition and proceed with further evaluation. Everything was discussed in detail so I understood the plan. My wife ( an RN) and I were very impressed and pleased with the attitude of both of them.
