This support group is intended to serve as an educational opportunity and social experience for patients with pulmonary hypertension. Caregivers and/or family members are welcome.
Pulmonary hypertension is a disease that affects the vessels that bring blood from the heart to the lungs. It is a state of constant high blood pressure in the vessels of the lungs. There is no cure for pulmonary hypertension, but there are treatments that can slow the progression of the disease and improve the patient’s functional status.
Meets the third Monday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. No meeting in January, August or December.
