About

I started out my journey in medicine as a paramedic before I decided to go to nursing school. As I worked my way through nurse practitioner school, I worked as a staff nurse on Froedtert's inpatient medicine unit. This is wear I worked with patient's with cystic fibrosis and where I learned that I wanted to join my patient's in fighting for their best health possible. As cliche' as it is to say, I genuinely mean it when I say there is no place I would rather be.

I have always felt assured that I'm in good hands with this provider.
Dr. Schmidt was very kind and was attentive to all my questions. He's a great NP!
David was very attentive to my concerns and answered all my questions. He made me feel very comfortable and well-cared for.
This was the best medical appointment I have had in years, David was attentive, answered my questions and relayed other pertinent info. This is what Dr. Appt's should be like. Clone him please. I wish he could be my primary physician. I left that appointment smiling and told my friends it was the best ever.
