About

I started out my journey in medicine as a paramedic before I decided to go to nursing school. As I worked my way through nurse practitioner school, I worked as a staff nurse on Froedtert's inpatient medicine unit. This is wear I worked with patient's with cystic fibrosis and where I learned that I wanted to join my patient's in fighting for their best health possible. As cliche' as it is to say, I genuinely mean it when I say there is no place I would rather be.

Great. Efficient
David provided information as a follow up for sleep apnea. He listened to my concerns and gave suggestions for those concerns. He took the time to talk with me. Was very nice and he made me feel comfortable.
David Schmidt was very personable and took the time to understand the problem I needed to address. He was patient and kind and allowed me to ask all of my questions. He assured me that my feelings mattered and that it was a safe place to talk about things. He explained the treatment plan while considering my input. He also wrote for a follow up visit and I received a phone call shortly after and could easily schedule an appointment.
David was extremely helpful in recommending ways to maximize my medications. It was so very helpful!
David did an excellent job as always. He makes you feel comfortable and takes whatever time needed to review my issues.
