Each patient plays an integral part of their care team in order to achieve optimal health; understanding and working together towards patients’ health goals is paramount to that care. I enjoy caring for all patients, including those with diverse backgrounds. This includes underserved communities such as LGBTQIA+, and HIV communities. About
Dr. Eric Halpern received his medical license at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Christiana Care health system. Before working with MCW, Dr. Halpern was a provider in a general primary care clinic where he provided care to a diverse general population. He has also spent time working in an HIV specialty care clinic where he provided care to the HIV+ and LGBTQIA+ community.
