Maria Diener, a certified physician assistant, works in collaboration with WHG cardiologists to evaluate underlying causes to chronic cardiac diseases. As an integral part of your team Maria excels at the management of cardiac processes allowing her to create an individualized plan for care.  If a cardiac procedure is indicated, Maria will guide you through the process.  Maria sees office patients, supervises stress testing and makes hospital rounds daily. She strives to enhance continuity of care and patient compliance.


 Maria received her Bachelors of Science in in Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University. She later achieved a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University in 2007.  She has been a part of Wisconsin Heart Group since February 2009.

Provider was professional, understanding & courtesy, but there's always room for improvement in one area or the other.

five different staff members entering the exam room asking questions, taking notes then leaving the room. I felt they were not coordinating with each other as I had to ask them if each was aware of my informing the previous person. Prescription meds got messed up delaying them available to me the next day.
