As a surgeon often referred the most complex and complicated cases in my specialty, I understand how stressful it can be for patients and families who have suffered greatly from a significant medical condition that requires surgery. I strive to provide patient centered, timely, compassionate, and exceptional care to all of my patients. I aim to include my patients in the decision making process, to understand their treatment goals, and to create a treatment plan that is tailored just for them.

Seemed to blow off question about discomfort. Didn't seem willing to investigate or find suggestions or answers.

Dr.Gould is a very caring dedicated surgeon. He operated on me in Madison and unfortunately I need more surgery and the relief of knowing he is now in Milwaukee makes it so much easier to have the next surgery. The Medical College of Wisconsin hospital is extremely lucky to have such a talented surgeon working there.

It was almost 8 years ago that I had surgery but Dr Gould seemed to remember me & the surgery. He is very calm & never makes me feel like I don't know what I'm talking about. It was a very enjoyable appointment!

I was very nervous because of a very bad experience at Surgical associates in Wausau. The nurses and practitioners were true care-givers taking the time to understand my journey. Dr. Gould did not disappoint my expectations. He came highly recommended. Dr. Gould was kind and personable. He allowed me to express my worries and validated them. He thanked me for making the long trip and he assured me I would have the best care possible. He asked that I have all my pre and post procedures with him and his care team. I appreciated that piece of mind. I am coming 360 miles to find comfort and heal. I felt the effort I made was matched. Thank you all.

Doctor and his PA were fantastic. The problem was the LPN who took my vitals. She was uncaring . Stop using the blood pressure machines. Take my blood pressure manually machines always read higher. When I visit my primary care doctor they manually do blood pressure. I wasn't nervous. If she would of taken the time and looked at my chart she would of see I have a normal BP. Using a machine is being lazy. Be compassionate is her job. If she would of listened to my wife instead of blowing her off maybe she would of learned something. She put my wife in the exam room like she was be bad. My wife is a medical assistant. The LPN needs to listen. I will be back because of the doctor and PA.
