Dr. Ballard is beyond wonderful. We are so lucky to have him in this area with his knowledge and "bedside" manner. He truly cares about his patients and their wellbeing. I can't say enough good things about him.
Everyone was professional and friendly - the receptionist for check in, the Wellness Nurse interview and the Dr for my annual check up.All questions were discussed and answered. Very satisfied !
At my first clinic appointment with Dr. Ballard he seemed cold and distant. At my annual wellness visit he was much more approachable and friendly. I reviewed the notes in my chart. I don't appreciate canned text; several of the paragraphs were canned and didn't occur.
This was my first time seeing Dr Ballard. My initial impression is that he is very knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. I was happy with my choice.

Dr. Ballard was very professional in dealing with a sensitive topic (medical incapacitation). He was kind and caring, but also was able to complete the assessment without agitating Dad. The family really appreciated the way he handled the visit.
Dr. Ballard listened to me with complete attention, not minimizing my complaints or Interrupting what I had so say. He asked pertinent questions, did a careful exam, and gave clear instructions on the treatment plan. At the end of the visit he asked if there was anything else I wanted to bring up. He said it in such a sincere manner that I felt It was not a trite or mechanical question - that It wasn't a way to quickly end the visit. The only suggestion I would have is that he could slow the pacing when he asks questions. I could keep up, but found I had to really be quick In responding. I always listened well, It's just that when he was asking a series of questions, It seemed a bit like rapid fire.I felt comfortable with him and liked the visit. Dr. Ballard took his time with me and did not rush me. I feel fortunate to have him as my primary physician.
