When you have been diagnosed with cancer, you can rely on a high standard of personalized cancer care at the Cancer Center at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

As a select location in the Froedtert & MCW Cancer Network, our Cancer Center provides the excellent care to which you are accustomed, while offering access to the specialty expertise of Froedtert Hospital, eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center.

Through the Cancer Network, patients at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital have access to expanded services: nationally and internationally known specialists who focus on specific cancers, advanced treatments and technologies, and clinical trials that may provide further options.

Medical College of Wisconsin cancer specialists are joined by radiation therapists, oncology nurses, genetic counselors, registered dietitians, psycho-oncology specialists, and support service specialists at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital — all of whom are keenly attuned to the needs, hopes and fears of cancer patients.

Each patient's care is coordinated with specialists from many areas of Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, who help and support patients and their families through the physical, emotional and economic phases of treatment. Your cancer team will also help you manage side effects and note any physical changes, and, if necessary, will recommend other forms of treatment to achieve the best results.

After completing treatment, a full report is sent to your primary care doctor, and we will schedule your follow-up visits at the Cancer Center at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital whenever possible.

After a thorough physical examination and review of your hospital records, tests, X-rays and biopsy findings, your physicians at the Cancer Center at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital will discuss their recommendations with you. They will also consult with your primary care doctor. We want you to be an active participant in planning your health care. We also encourage family members to join you throughout the process to discuss your progress and offer support.

If you need a highly specialized treatment, you may be connected with Clinical Cancer Center on the Froedtert Hospital campus for treatment — and return to the Cancer Center for follow-up care.

Please bring your insurance card to your initial visit. If you are a member of a health maintenance organization (HMO), be sure to have your service authorization approved before your first visit. A copy of your monthly statement is automatically sent to you or your insurance company. Please let us know of any changes in your insurance coverage or financial status. Physician fees are billed separately. You'll receive a second bill for hospital charges.
