“We work with a lot of first-year residents. There are so many new faces that we keep a picture of them by our desks, so we recognize their faces! I love seeing how confident they are by year four. I always tell them, ‘I remember when you started, and look at how much you have learned and grown! You are going to be a great doctor.’ One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing people succeed.”
“I’m the lead clinical liaison for Radiology. We are like the 911 call center for Radiology. My team triages all the calls for the radiologists who read the imaging studies. We work with physicians, technicians, patients — we answer everyone’s questions. It makes me happy to be able to provide people with the information they need or guide them on how they can find it. We interact with a lot of different personalities in my role, and I make a point to relate to everyone. It is so important to make the effort to connect with people on a deeper level, no matter who they are. I am warm and inviting. I try my best to exude my light onto others. I really love helping people.”
“My mom influenced the way I communicate with others. She raised five children as a single parent. She always allowed us the space to have a conversation about whatever was on our minds. I think that is where I get my outgoing, conversational nature from. I also practice loving myself. I keep my spirit happy and surround myself with positivity.”
