I listen first. Though I believe in keeping up on the latest medical science, it is important in patient care to listen carefully to what people describe as their health concerns, symptoms, history, wellness goals, and so much more.
I have 20 years of experience in health care. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Nutrition and Dietetics, completed a dietetic internship at Mayo Medical Center. I then worked as a dietitian for 5 years. I returned to school to become a physician and completed my medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. I chose to be a family medicine physician as I love seeing all ages of patients and being a doctor to the whole family. Thus, I completed a residency in family medicine at the Aurora St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been in practice for 8 years.
