About

I have 20 years of experience in health care. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Nutrition and Dietetics, completed a dietetic internship at Mayo Medical Center. I then worked as a dietitian for 5 years. I returned to school to become a physician and completed my medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. I chose to be a family medicine physician as I love seeing all ages of patients and being a doctor to the whole family. Thus, I completed a residency in family medicine at the Aurora St. Luke's Family Medicine Residency, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been in practice for 8 years.

Dr Dunek and her NP made me feel seen and heard. I haven't had that in a long time. Don't let these two go.

Dr. Dunek is a wonderful doctor. She listens, asks plenty of questions, and has dialogue. She takes a genuine interest in me and family.
